More like brats MB. Schoolkids all of them on massive ego trips.
They will pretend to be done in after a tiff, and say snobbishly 'I won't play with you anymore.'
But then they actually find it hard to stick by it.

Re: Happy Birthday Buckaroo!
On the issue of birthdays, I have been set thinking by a recent incident. Recently as I was sending fellow forumite from Australia a greeting message on his birthday as I couldn't find any thread on that and did not see immidiately that greetings for said poster was going on in another unrelated thread. I was then informed that he had me on 'foes/ignore' list and thus my message wouldn't be accepted. I did not intend to send the mail to lick tha proverbial arse or build an 'everlasting friendship' that would last through the ages. But it was supposed to be a gesture .. a gesture of humanity .. and I was prevented from conveying this humane gesture.
Recently I also happened to notice that a captain of a certain team sledged another player while he left the ground and what was until then just a lingering hurt inside seemed to get a more defining shape. Cricket which was played by just 7 countries and fans from these countries was getting more narrow as the months passed. On this very forum 187 member are so divided between each other and If players from just 7 countries and a small pool of fans could not go together then was it actually the nature of cricketers and some unruly fans that were responsible for this divisiveness or was it cricket itself ? Or was cricket itself being belittled.
Whatever be the cause, it was food for thought .. and I thought it was pertinent to share these thoughts with everyone.
