Poor form eowyn, you must know that this is a 'straight rules' game. (Nobody's stated otherwise) As such, at this stage of the game you can't transfer inversely. I know the temptation to use such strong tactics can be overwhelming, but really...

Besides, you can't possibly have the points to play anything other than the very dangerous 'Aldwych' move. On the bright side, nobody else would have enough points at the moment to play Mornington Crescent, and I don't think anyone else playing at the moment would be that nasty.

So come on, play fair...

I'm playing the Tim Brooke-Taylor "no holds barred" version. There were no rules published when the game started therefore I can use whatever rules I wish. Humphrey agrees and so does Sven.

Maybe we should start another game, perhaps using the brighton handicap. Perhaps even with an initial declaration of Tooting Bec.

Are you aware that under Mitchell's Diversion, you would have managed a triple word score had you played Charing Cross in a game next year (a leap year)?

And before you think that gives you any advantage whatsoever, don't forget Zone 6 is wild, and to increase the difficulty somewhat, there will be a one fare system, but only if you manage to collect 3 jokers after a mortgage on the same set.

So with all that considered, I think I'll play three chert tokens on New Cross Gate.

And in an effort to draw a few more players, the Central can be wild for three with all raised stations earning double points as well.
