Re: Sri Lanka v England, 1st Test, Galle, 26-30 March, 2012
Hmm. Two quicks and three spinners? I would have gone the other way and played three quicks and two spinners. Bresnan anyone?? His reverse swing could have been more than useful in these conditions.

Aye, happened when the team was in Australia. Very decent commentator.
Randiv and Herath are the two Lankan spinners.

Anyway, we're screwed. Sri Lanka to be 325-2 at stumps.

Is Dilshan the thickest cricketer around? He seemed to have mellowed his approach in Australia, apparently not.

Hells Bells. The Lankans have no fight whatsoever. They are batting like they want to get this over wth and head to the IPL.

Must be the West Indies tour of 1990 when he last commented on an England Test outside Oz.

When did England last play three regular spinners?
Think I've found the game. Anyone like to hazard a guess as to 3 bowlers concerned? Emphasis on the "regular". KP, Vaughan, Atherton, Hick etc turning their arm over doesn't count.

During the 1950s Walcott, Kanhai and Alexander all kept wicket for the West Indies and played together in the same side during the 1958 series against Pakistan when Alexander kept.
