The curious case of Kurtis Patterson

He has played one first class match for NSW, back in November 2011 as an 18 year old. In that match he belted 157 off 189 balls. It looked as if he was a real prospect. But more than a year later, he has yet to add to that solitary first class appearance. Why? It's not like Australia is bursting at the seams with young batting talent at the moment.

All seems rather odd.

'Kurtis Patterson' - mysterious single, ball-belting appearance & disappearance - got to be a low-profile part of another one of KP's rehabilitations.

The other KP got a 3 ball pair in the Futures League match on at the moment.

Oh well, he'll always have his Shield debut ton.

I doubt any player has been as badly trevved as Kurtis Patterson
