Was only thinking about this earlier today. I partake in another international forum and we have had Daylight Savings discussions as the Northern Hemisphere goes into DS and we come out of it. Posters from the States, Central and South America, and Europe were involved.

It would seem that WA, NT and Qld are the exception, not the rule.

Cairns half a time zone from Brisbane. Mt Isa a fulltime zone away. Darwin another time zone.

God didn't declare daylight savings. Thickhead mexicans who thought they needed more sunlight hours did. Wake up and look at the roses or your lawn. Damn sure those things only grow when Mother Nature says it's time.

but qmy ....brisbane is half a time zone east of melbourne...are you suggesting god declared the clocks must be the same in Mt Isa and Brisbanal and determined the borders of banjoland?

Eucla is 45 minutes ahead of Perth. Sometimes practicality comes into it.
