One of the Bangers openers went for a review after being bowled.

Re: Sri Lanka v Bangladesh, 2nd Test, Colombo (PSS), 15-19 March, 2017
But no-one had been bowled at the time lardy posted. The Lankans were 3 down (2 caught and one stumped). Or am I suffering NSR?
Lankans now 5-139. Carn the Bangers!!

Classic Bangles - look like building a first innings lead and then lose 3 quick wickets at the end of the day.

All of the specialist Banger batsmen have made starts but so far no-one is going on with it. Scores of 49, 61, 34, 42 & 52. At the moment Shakib is 51 not out & debutant Mosaddek Hossain 8 not out. Mosaddek is an interesting prospect - he has a first class average of 68 in the extremely tough BanglaDee FC competition including "scores of 282, 250, 200*, 153 and 152 in his seven first-class centuries".

Half century on debut to Mosaddek Hossain.
He looks to be an exciting prospect. If you asked anyone who are the best judges of a cricketer, most folk would say Ihsaan, Rajoo & Rabib Khan. Here are their comments on young Mosaddek (from cricinfo)-
Ihsaan: "Mosaddek could be the top order player Bangladesh are missing. Someone who can convert starts into big hundreds. His first class stats prove that he can play long innings and his technique is just wow. so pleasing to watch - I think i have a new fave player."
Rajoo: "This new kid Mosaddek is a real delight to watch."
Rabib Khan: "Mosaddek looks like the more senior batsman in the middle. His confident shots have been blissful to watch."

Continuing their form today. Mustafizur getting 3 as Sri Lanka go from 143-1 to 194-6. Pretty sure it'd be their first win against Sri Lanka if they do win.

Yes. They have done it!
Bangladesh win an AWAY test against one of the great cricket-playing nations.
Not even the mighty Australian superstars could win a test in Sri Lanka.

And by four wickets they win. Must be tough to mentally bounce back from that debacle in New Zealand, to have faith that you can stick it out and win a match, so this was nice to see.

Well done Bangladesh. They have at least three players now- Shakib, Tamim, and Mushfiqur, who are not all that far off a World XI. Lets hope they keep improving and start learning how to win more often.
