FB at the MCG or SCG Test, 2010-11 ... by imperial command
I had communication from Zog yesterday, floating the idea of an FB contingent appearing at one of the tests this summer. He must have been completely pissed because he said he'd even be happy to have Mudge along. Apparently Zatty hasn't loudly informed each and every English player that they are 'crap' for some time, and the urge is proving irresistible. He is already lamenting Monty's probable non-appearance on this occasion, and wondering whether he should mail him the spray he will otherwise miss out on.
I'm interested in the idea, though I probably don't want the t-shirt ... and I can't do the MCG Test. I am going to Brisbane, and hope to attend the Sydney game, or at least part of it.
Is anyone else interested?

There is a temptation for me to visit Australia, in the near future, although plans are shady at best at the moment.

He said Mudge, not Smerk. He wasn't that pissed ...
More seriously, if it looks like it might happen, PM one of us.

Safe.
I recall Danny saying he's heading over there. There was a lengthy discussion about it in a thread a few months ago.

At present the idea is one day at the game, forumites seated together (horrie and Zim at opposite ends), with a curry night or similar to follow

Is it only during the Ashes that you arrange these sort of things?
Ever thought of visiting Taips for a curry night in Jo'berg?

I don't think he reached a conclusion. It would be a hoot to have him seated alongside Zim ...

Did I relly say that lardy? I must have been pissed...
Tickets go on sale to members of the 'Australian Cricket Family' or whatever it's called next month IIRC, and I think there'll be limits of 8 in one transaction, so if you're interested inan FB gathering, speak soon or forever hold your piece. Or should that be peace? I'm hungover...

If we can get a group together, we should wear Flaming Bails shirts!

Re: FB at the MCG or SCG Test, 2010-11 ... by imperial command
So you suggest 7 of us sit side-by-side with F, L, A, M, I, N & G on our T-shirts?
I reckon lardy would very quickly start playing an anagram game. "You, move here. You, move there"
M.I.L.F.N.A.G.

Meh, how are we gonna get 12 people to the SCG? We can't even get 12 people on here at once.
