Brett Lee's average drops below 30!
265 wickets at 29.92! Strike rate - 51.
I expect an apology from all those Aussies that bashed him for all those years. The turnaround is phenomenal. Since 01/01/2006 his record is:
16 tests - 77 wickets at 25.22, strike rate 47.
And in that time he's played South Africa twice, England, Sri Lanka, and India.

If you were paying attention you would have noticed that those who spoke plainly about his poor playing record have happily acknowledged the improvement.

Tait has acquired Lee's old brain. Lee has a new one from somewhere.

McGrath handed his to Bung who then handed his on to Spud. Spud says he doesn't like using Bungs brain. To stop Spud sooking Bung takes his old brain back from time to time just to prove that it works like it always did.

Which is more brains that Yuvraj will ever have.

Why drag Yuvraj into a non-Deepika affair?

Jury still out until a few more tours away from home, to prove it really isn't a fluke!

Re: Brett Lee's average drops below 30!
Meanwhile, Tait's average has gone above 60.
BTW, this is the first time in over four years that Bung's average has gone below 30. He's taken 47 wickets in his last seven Tests, never taking less than six in a match. My prediction at the start of the season that he'd be an ODI specialist by the end of this series went horribly wrong. On the plus side, my prediction that Token would have a big season has been on the mark.

Re: Brett Lee's average drops below 30!
Lee's career bowling average has improved after every innings he has bowled starting with the Melbourne test against England in 2006/07. That's 14 innings.
By co-incidence, one of the Australian batsmen has improved his career batting average after every innings starting with that same Melbourne test. However, I won't mention his name for fear of woofing him.
Sorry Roy!

I think Bung's ICC Bowling rating will probably go above 800 for the first time too.

Does this mean we have to wait until Bleeeeeaaarrrgggh retires for Tait to become a decent Test bowler?

Alderman (or Moody) had a theory today that Tait wasn't coping with being the 4th bowler

Everyone else's theory is that he isn't coping with being a Test bowler.
