Robert Clive?
Likely.
And I'll bet anything it ain't Clive Lloyd.
On a related note, Bradman knows his history.

Might be like the Bannies refusal to play the Saffie Boxing Day Test.
I'd love to say the issue was one of principle, but given it is CA and the BCCI, that argument clearly does not hold water.

They are not called the Bannies without reason.
The Bannies are mindful of their abject record over the decades when travelling, esp to Oz. I suspect the Bannies would prefer not to travel here at all and would like a pretext to make it thus. The dummies don't realise they have have a live chance of clean sweeping an Oz weekened with the absence of Seasick and the elevation of cbnlg

I think it’s more the principle of India being allowed to call the shots regarding away series, as opposed to the specific issue. A bit like the way they didn’t accept DRS when it was known as Dravid Removal System...taipan wrote:I honestly don't get the angst over this. Does it really matter if it's a pink ball test or not?

Basically my point. For years people here have been criticising Indian dust bowls, but now they are pissed that Aus can't manipulate a test in their favour.
