rofl...qbillies only good for bent coppers, pollies, crooked developers, miners and folk who wear big hats.
Qmy is the exception to the rule.

Well that's a small q and I've made a bit of money out of property development, but like Scomo I prefer a baseball cap. Big hats are for fundraisers and standing still.

Didn't he get the arse for all sorts of indiscretions, not least of which being the unpronounceable nature of his name?
Sounds like pay back from a bitter sook.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XV)
Apropos of nothing really (other than Aus politics), I went out with a group of my partner's friends (her walking group) tonight and one of them was telling us she's just started as Bob Hawke's care nurse 6 days a week. The old narc is recovering from a small stroke. She helps him shower and wipe his arse and do the other things the 89 year old is no longer capable of.
I told her to say hello for me and tell him to vote Liberal.

I was. I thought you were being uncharacteristically mean. Hawkey would have been better off pegging out earlier. His QOL will be in sharp descent.

Only if you consider Lyons and Hughes in the same category.
Actually some journo likened Hughes and Abbott this week. Not a bad comparison. Hughes stayed almost beyond his death trying to be PM again. I expect the MM to do the same. At some stage in the next ten years if there is a split n the Libs I expect he will go off and lead the breakaways.

Looks like Emma Husar is returning to parliament. It seems Labor's idea of resigning in disgrace is going on fully paid leave for a month then pocketing $150,000 of taxpayers money, plus expenses, all while still under parliamentary investigation for misappropriation of taxpayers money.
Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (XV)
PMSL. Shortarse on his high horse saying "there's no place for bullying" then welcoming cruel witch qunt Husar back with open arms. Such a Union thing to do. Is she married to a bikie??
I think h's long espoused view that both sides of politics is putrid ATM is pretty right.

Actually helped Sir Tezza:s son a job interview with Border Security. The Vastas lobbied Spudhead. They any and the Lewis gang go back to the Fitzgerald Inquiry. The 'Joke' lives on.

Are you referring to me? If so all I can say is that Dutton's an ex QLD copper who arrived whilst the "cleanup" was just starting and who never served in the bush. Say no more.

Terry Lewis was pissed off when he got transferred to the bush at one stage. Coppers make their money in the cities. That is the qmy reference. Of course Dutton served at one stage down on the GoCo ... a highly sought after posting for bent QBilly coppers.
.. and qmy - apols for stoopid spell check on the phone.

I am still staggered I was referring to Spudhead as the Sir Terry Lewis candidate, well before his links were made clear. I think long term exposure to jgk bets/statements has rubbed off on all of us.
