Re: Trivia 2020
Okay, let's start with a very straightforward one. (Easier still if you google ...)
It's not entirely topical.
In what significant way would Reggie Schwarz be the odd one out if included in this list?
Major Booth
Claude Newberry
Tibby Cotter
Colin Blythe
Reginald Hands
(It's by no means a comprehensive list.)

Might have also been an index victim, the name being a misnomer and all that.

Re: Trivia 2020
No, that's all it was. The others were killed in uniform - "fell in action", as the euphemism used to go - whereas Reggie (not Reginald) was carried off by the Spanish Flu just after the armistice. So he survived the war (hostilities) but not the war (against the sweeping virus).
I made it straightforward (as I mentioned - see top), to get some sort of ball rolling. I did also say "not entirely topical", with a certain heavy meaning. As any historically-informed clinician will tell you, the "Spanish flu" and the current viral plague are very different in composition. But there is an obvious similarity in potential impact.
(Possibly interesting side-note: The term "Spanish flu" was a slander on Spain, specifically designed to divert attention from its more obvious source.)
SO ,,, who's got a teaser - easy, medium or brain-rackingly effin impossible?

Ok. In the spirit of these troubled times.
"If that prick Hollies hadn't stole my thunder six months later I might be the subject of more triv. The dismissal whilst unusual wasn't rare. Plus the man robbed me of a Michelle by declaring and leaving a couple of bunnies in the shed."
Test and player.

FFS! Ok. I deliberately left another name out of it to make it harder (futility is my default position).

Re: Trivia 2020
OK, what is the most Test runs you can find for a batsman that corresponds to their birthday?
So for instance, Dhoni scored 4876 runs which would coincide with 4 August 1976. However he was born on 7 July 1981 which meant he would have needed to score 7781 runs to qualify.

Re: Trivia 2020
As you know, I generally do quiz questions rather than figures-based trivia.
But for both, what makes these things relatively easy to set" these days" makes them even easier to crack: you may take time to set 'em up carefully, but with the crack of a rifle shot or two, they're knocked down again. And they say hard work never killed anybody ...
And that's even when cricinfo works ...
So, anyway, I've decided I had to slow down the Bails version of the NRA a little, with a two-phase quiz question. (You'll know exactly what I mean by "two-phase" if you try it.)
Below you can see two teams.
Question: How many England captains can you find in the higher team, and how many of them in the lower team?
Bonus points: Find 2 noted/notoriously called "chuckers" in the 22.
