Farkin Coppers in this country
Got a call from my friend the other side of town saying some crackhead bloke was trying to break her door down, ran round there with a crowbar just as the fooking police turned up.
got a lecture about carrying a crowbar as a weapon FFS
F'kin angry!

At least they didn't shoot you repeatedly in the face at point blank range.
Result, I'd say.
Result, I'd say.
Re: Farkin Coppers in this country

What weapon would they have preferred the crackhead to carry?

Precisely.
Although it subsequently turns out the 'crackhead' is one of her 'mates'
Stupid cow.

At least you didn't beat him to death. That would have been embarrassing.

You should tell her to stop having crackheads for mates.

A crowbar's a bit over the top. Pursuasive words and sheer manly prescence normally help me ward off crackheads.

Pft. I'm actually a very passive bloke, the 'tool' was because I thought I was going to have to deal with Hulk Hogan on acid and being the not that brave person I am decided i'd like to have a 'bigger' one than him!

Re: Farkin Coppers in this country
I don't even own a crowbar. Aside from burglars, who does?
I think there's some bamboo in the garage somewhere. And some of the bigger sofa cushions can really knock a person off their stride if you catch them right.
I'm tooled up enough.

You could have someone's eye out with a bamboo cane - don't underestimate it.
It'll be the last thing you ever do (with two eyes).

I've got an old (some would say little used) Gray Nicolls Dynadrive - that could do some damage if wielded properly.

Tsk. Bamboo can be used for loads of other stuff.
Sometimes I bind pieces of them together to make stick men to take to football matches and insult the opposition fans with their wooden ways.
I call them Bambooligans.
Re: Farkin Coppers in this country
You have POWs in your garage and you stick the bamboo under their fingernails and probably practice amateur dentistry on them as well.
You'll hang one day Dello.

I don't really have anything to add to your tale, Lever. Yes, the police are idiots. High five.
There used to be a rozzer on the old C4 board. Can't remember who, but he certainly didn't take kindly to people bad-mouthing the filth.

Aye, Stuey was a good bloke. Another late-lamented forummer was Ozinuk.

I know that 'rozzer'. He does a valuable job keeping us safe from crowbar wielding maniacs I'll have you know.
I think we should give the police guns, motorbikes with huge wheels, shoulderpads and the right to pass sentence on wrongdoers.

I think we should arm them with Bibles and Natasha Beddingfield songs - use the word of God and Natasha's positive vibes to spirit the wrongness out of bad eggs.
