Consolation but good win by the Spivs tonight. No wash.

That last 10 minutes in Game 1 cost us the series. And Turbo's busted pec in the 1st 5 mins in game 2 didn't help.

Cody Walker had a great 1st half. His combo with Best and the Fox on the left side was awesome. They had Val Holmes running in circles. Best might have a useful Origin career ahead of him.

Absolute rubbish game. The result was clear from the way the first set of brutal pile-on gang tackles by NSW on the QLD defence was overlooked by the referees, whilst an unjustifiable penalty was awarded against QLD towards the end of their very first set. At that point the game style was clear - what was permitted by one side and not the other - and we (Mrs L and I) knew it wouldn't be worth watching. It wasn't. Tour de France time.
