Windies ODI squad for Sri Lanka series

Chris Gayle (Captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (Vice Captain), Sulieman Benn, Patrick Browne (Wicket-keeper), Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Fidel Edwards, Runako Morton, Keiron Pollard, Daren Powell, Denesh Ramdin (Wicket-keeper), Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Devon Smith, Jerome Taylor.

Pretty good team, I am just disappointed that they didn't use the opportunity to look at one of our young fast bowlers. Kieron Pollard returns to the team even though he has had an ordinary second season in FC cricket. Benn is included as the specialist spinner which is not a bad option. I wonder if they will rest Ramdin and let Browne play a match after his impressive start in South Africa?

Didn't pollard play OK in the one day stuff? Baks did well as well, if I remember correctly

tbf you are right Pollard averages 41 in List A cricket, with a strike rate that will be way over 100.

The problem is that he is not in the best of form right now.
