Ah, just saw that this game is on at a reasonable hour Spiv time. A 10.30 pm start will allow me to boo at the woeful Aussie performance.

Serioulsy, though the poms should walk this in . . . Australia haven't played since the WC and that will limit their ability to hit the big shots . . . shrug

Really, the lack of confidence in my regard comes from a stung Aussie side, the fact they're playing us and the fact they simply cannot be stupid enough to leave out Brad Hogg again.

But Gilly and Haydos haven't got one off the square in their last 3 games, Ponting is fresh from his wife's sickbed and Clarke is injured. Leaves Token and Paris as our only 2 effectives . . .

Disagree, Gilly is always hit or miss, same as with MtFTB in this form of the game. Ponting barely ever goes potless. Also, don't knock Podge by leaving him out, he was your best bat the other night IMO and has done nothing wrong in ODIs so far.
