ICC's world t20 qualifiers. Their latest stupid decision.

The World t20 qualifiers will now feature a third-place playoff. This is to find an extra team to go into the t20WC (or whatever it's goiing to be called) following the withdrawal of Zimbabwe from the competition proper.

They've also added a 5th place playoff.

The genius responsible for the schedule has, however, decided that the teams with the most to play for, the two battling for third place, will have to play for their spot in the big show immediately after the semi finals conclude, while the two teams with nothing to play for, in the 5th place playoff, get the semi-final day off and play as a curtain raiser to the final.

Stupid.

If it wasn't the ICC, I'm sure you'd accuse me of making this shit up...
