So who wants Alex Tudor then?
Now that he is leaving Essex by "mutual consent"
Don't you just love that phrase? - a euphemism for "farq off and die"

Such a pity - 10 years ago he was our Stuart Broad-style bright young prospect ready to take over the world...!

They've very Essex-y kind of stats those. Wouldn't be surprised if they had belonged to Middlebrook, Napier, Masters, Dustcart, etc.

Chelmsfords a bit of a road but yeah, not great that lot. We love our 9 & 10 to average 20+ with the bat and 40 with the ball.
I'm still getting over being rolled for 78 by the taffs FFS

That match had totally passed me by. Robert Croft 5-6!!!! Which is quite a co-indience as he's going to be 56 two weeks on Thursday.
He also seems to be playing as an opening batsman these days.
Madness.

I can afford to be cocky as we have somehow scored 414/9 despite our top score only being 67.
Young home-grown all-rounder Gideon Kruis has come good with 5-47 and 50 not out!

...and Such could probably still get a game for some of those teams!

Afraid to ask, but that sounds very like a South African name to me.

No, he's from a remote township in Pretoria, which I believe is somewhere between Rotherham and Ecclesfield.
To be fair we've got 8 Yorkshire born players playing, (would have been 9 but for Hoggard's injury), and Rudolph, who is from Lapland so doesn't have a home team to play for.

His body just wasn't meant to play cricket.
My guess is that this is the end of the road for him. I still remember him cleaning up both the Waugh brothers on his debut, and Steve Waugh raving about him.
