I asked for your thoughts about Watson at 6 in the T1 side on another thread but you missed it.

Views, man?

sorry S...am at this less than recently...i think Watto is worth a go given the pitches that will be served up by the Subis...we do not want to bust our quick/medium stocks ahead of a serious contest against the saffies.

personally i think the selectors will go for watto at 7 in the order, followed by haddit...fleas to bat at 6

Watson as part of a 4 man attack? No Spinner? You're mad, Horrie.

Excellent idea horrie. I propose the Aussies withdraw Ponting, Hayden, Hussey and Clarke before the serious contest v. the saffies. From your mouth to the Bush lookalike's ears.

thank you for that insight...Krazy is a gift pie purveyor...no point selecting a bowler unless there is confidence that they will take at least one wicket

tosh @ furri...these matches will provide useful batting practice for our bats plus your fab 4.25....the series provides gangles (the 0.25) with a chance of getting his average v Aust. up near 35

But WATSON as part of a 4 man attack? May as well have the stretcher ready and waiting on the fine leg boundary.
