PMSL...how crap is she if she can't beat Wayne farking Swan!!?!?Ms Bishop has failed as Coalition Treasury spokeswoman in her head-to-head contest with Wayne Swan. The West Australian Liberal has become the first person in the Coalition Treasury portfolio to fall behind Mr Swan.

The fact that ithe boy with the poison crayon is 'Dennis the Menace' Shanahan is just as important as the story itself. If Nelson was the Andrew Peacock, Mal Tse-Tung could be the John Hewson. Or even the Al Downer.

The fact of the matter is that Kevin is quite popular. Malcolm has been getting high approval ratings but it doesn't matter a jot if the people still like Kev better.
Politicians would be better off if they actually believed in the line they spin to the media ie. "I don't pay attention to opinion polls".
This far out from an election they're about as useful as Nathan Hauritz on a traditional WACA wicket.

Yes, an offie can be quite useful. However the jury's still out on whether Nathan Hauritz fits that description.

It's a cunning ploy to keep Swan as Treasurer leading up to the next election.
