A crazy bug the FB forums triggers in my home computer
Hi,
I have faced this bug quite a few times at home. When I make a post and when the post sent message is in process before the page is directed to the thread page with the new post, If I close the page, sometimes it triggers off a bug that keeps on opening internet explorer pages and keep opening even as I keep closing them, multiplying like a virus attack. Except it's not a virus attack. That I have checked. The blank web pages keep opening up at least till 60 or so pages and the only way they stop is if the explorer exe is shot in task manager processes list or if you log out immediately.
Anyone else encountered this problem?

I agree. I am now using Firefox and all the issues I was having have disappeared. I couldn't even open Howstat properly with IE. What a heap of steaming Bill Gates turdburger filling that browser is.doremi wrote:Stop using IE, it's crap.

I encountered that exact problem Vikas, and have not had it since changing to Firefox.Batman wrote:Hi,

5 minutes work, man. Google Mozilla Firefox, download the free software and follow the install instructions. It automatically brings all your favourites across as bookmarked favourites.Batman wrote:Awright. Will need to do some upgrading when I get some spare time....

Re: A crazy bug the FB forums triggers in my home computer
I recently (yesterday) lost patience with IE due to its rubbish layout (why change it?) and its repetitive crash issues.
Had Firefox before, and should have got it on this computer months ago.
If you compare IE to a dog turd, you'd choose the dog turd every time...

using Vista and I have no such problem.
But there is a big problem with accessing FB on MacOSX platforms.

"A crazy bug the FB forums triggers in my home compu-tah
Drives my crazy wife quite crazy. "I wasn't browsing for porn" - I've gotta shoot her
And chop her up into little bite-size morsels
And feed her to the fish. And the dolphins - their big fins are called dorsals.
Everybody now:
Feed her to the fish, mother f*ckers
Feed her to the fish
And the dolphins.
Get them a-gulpin'
Break it down now..."
