He must be still injured. He was one of Aus's best bats in the ODI's last summer.

HTF does Hopes keep getting selected? For any form of the game? I'd love to be proved wrong, but he's a real Cunis.

Wasn't he the go-to-guy in the T20s in Oz? The only one who didn't get slaughtered by the snoozers?

Marsh is recovering from his hammy ...Hildi said the following when announcing the squads
I saw him on Sports Tonight last week ...he was in the US doing promotional work for the IPL ...he was trying to show an MLB player how to bat ...
“It was not considered appropriate to rush Shaun Marsh back into one-day cricket for Australia. Shaun is recovering from a significant hamstring injury. He is recovering well, but further testing of hamstring strength is being undertaken and he has not been match tested at all. We would expect Shaun to be available for selection in the Pakistan one-day series.

Wonder how much the IPL paid him to do that, and how it compares to a tour fee?

Story ....and a photo that wont make too many coaching manuals
Doesn't say how much he was paid ...but it was all about US Pay TV getting IPL and trying to get Seppoes to sign up ...so you'd think there was a few $$$ in it

Aye. PdMSL at the stoopid seppo thinking there was a higher percentage in using the edge of the bat rather than the face.embee wrote:The "live action" was even "better" on Sports Tonight

As you've said before most contests this summer between the two teams. They have blokes out of form too and I think Ntini's a poor ODI bowler.

A lot will depend on the toss in this encounter. D/N matches in Durban and Cape Town, heavily favour the team which doesn't have to bat under lights.

I think Ntini's a poor ODI bowler.
Ntini in ODI's- 265 wickets at an average of 24.31 and an economy rate of 4.49
The stats don't agree with you.
