Well, I think most politicians are a bit Steve Harmison, harping back to former glories, talking a lot of talk about change and about how it'll all be good soon, but never really delivering and generally looking a bit weak-fisted, out of place, and more at home amongst the landed gentry than the common person.

So, one suspects he will be qunt like the rest of 'em.

You can expect incompetence. His one plus point is that he has talked about being a lot tougher on Mugabe than Mbeki was.

But really, a week-old lettuce leaf has the ability to be tougher on Mugabe then Mbeki was.

So, was there such a big turn out to vote for something other than the ANC or were they there in force especially to vote for them?

To be fair he had a shower after he raped her, so he should be fine. I used to have a problem with ex-Communists (mainly due to the absolute stupidity of the theory) but since the GFC I've had to re-think.

Some plain yoghurt would be best and more soothing.

Probably railing against the threat of COPE. I think the DA got in in the Western Province and the ANC fell short of its two-thirds majority.

Zuma's a lot more popular with the masses than the aloof Mbeki who questioned the connection between HIV and AIDS so maybe Zuma's shower was redundant.

No I'd say they're both as brain dead as each other but unfortunately both were playing to their constituencies.
