Re: SiJo crocked again
Could be the end, I believe he's out of contract at the end of the season.
Very sad. Yet it seems we've started 'SiJo crocked again' threads for the past 3 seasons.

Did he overdo the gym (during his career)?

Never had a realistic chance of making any sort of comeback with those knees of his.
Poor guy ... certainly could be career threatening ... he must be gutted.

His knees are probably shot from carrying that big mouth of his around...

He needs to give up now or risk not being able to walk by the age of 50.

There is no way he'll be fit in time for the ashes.

I like the Aussie style. Why be sneaky and underhand about these things when you can just inject the drugs and get your mum to cover for you!

Re: SiJo crocked again
It's official: Jonah is out for the season after an operation to drain the fluid from his knee.
A bit surprised that he hasn't announced his retirement tbh.
He's out of contract at the end of the season, and Worcs. are being cagey about whether or not he will be offered a new one

Sad.
Though surely worth a risk for someone on a pay as you play deal similar to the one Tudor got at Essex?

But he's had more injuries than Bob Key and Ian Blacksmith have had hot dinners.
BETWEEN THEM.

Bloody-minded, I'd guess. He knows from last season that, if he get on the field, he's got shit-loads of wickets in him.
I'd expect a responsible surgeon to have a quiet word in his shell-like about the long-term implications of all of these ops, though.
He seems like the kind of bloke whose heart always rules his head - might need someone to spell it out for him: it's over.
