Oh skully, I've never known lardy be so pissed off with someone. I had to google some of the words he used.skully wrote:Back to the matter at hand, I hope I haven't offended lardy (which I really don't think I have) by exposing his age. I guess that's what Pete was alluding to.

Whats the big secret over his age anyway? He's on record as saying he attended cricket in the early 70's.

Aye, qmy. Top bloke and unlikely to be phased. Seemed quite excited about the festivities when I spoke with him earlier today. Good luck and best wishes to him.Demelza wrote:Oh skully, I've never known lardy be so pissed off with someone. Indeed JKL. lardy and I aren't too far apart, but he has a growth ring or two on me.JKLever wrote:Whats the big secret over his age anyway? He's on record as saying he attended cricket in the early 70's.

oddly enough i have always thought of skully as being one of the older statesmen in this place...had thought him closer to 60 than 50...that aside agree with his obvious statement about lardy being a top bloke

Now now taips. Is this merely an effort to distract yourself from another "fall at the last hurdle" effort from your team?
