"ladies" tennis ... pah, boring as batshit.... to think they get the same prizemoney for dobbling around over 3 sets (if the spectators are really lucky) - generally just 2 ... invariably bullying the oppo into submission.
Compare the 'fare' dealt up yesterday to the marathon the night before ....
I always thought that Ladies tennis could do with a "loser does a nude lap of the court" rule subject to an overule by crowd vote (which I call the Williams subclause).

Re: Wimbledon
That Roddick v Hewitt match was great fun.
Hewitt really is a fighter. Often he has to come back because he's slow out of the blocks, but Roddick was on fire at the start today.
That second set tie-breaker made me as nervous as hell.
It's what Wimbledon is all about.

Three double faults in the one tie-breaker. Hewitt lost it in five mad minutes. Though I agree it was a hell of a game.

21 consecutive GS semi-finals for Federer. Will anyone even come close to that?

Take out the big serve and this man had absolutely nothing in his game. I can't remember when a game involving Federer was this boring with absolutely no rallies.

I wouldn't exactly rate JC Ferrero as an "easy" opponent ... no-one is easy once they reach the last 16.
Wasn't it sooooooo easy for Murray? He is playing brilliantly no doubt, but the opponent was hardly threatening.

Is Hewitt the new Vaughan?
I switched on sportsnews this morning and the first thing I heard him say was "I can take a lot of positives from this"

Ferrero was formerly a No 1 yes.
Early days to get too excited H, though Murray did click nicely yesterday.
Needs that first serve to go in more often.
Still Fed for me ... although Murrays hunger and aggression will help should they meet in the final on Sunday.

Just speaking with a few people at work about this match. Nobody wants either of the Williams sisters to win.

I can't decide whether I want to see Roddick beat him tomorrow or Federer to demolish him in the final. I'd be happy with either, though the second would be funnier.
I want Roddick to go through though as he is Fed's little bitch, Murray on the other hand has a winning record against Fed.

Re: Wimbledon
I don't know what you lot have got against the Williamses. They successfully challenged white supremacy a few years ago, and it seems some of you have not forgiven them for that feisty feminine act of determination.
Whereas that foetal-hystericist madam with the robotic hatchet face that Serena was playing today. ewww. Identikit women's tennis.
