So in this pressure cooker environment, Broad is the England bowler that completely snaps first. I hope that's noted by Flower and co.

The real England have now turned up. Bowl short, get hit for 4, keep bowling short and keep getting hit for 4. Made even worse by the fact they were bowling quite well when pitching it up.

What are England trying to achieve by bowling long hops and short balls?

Haddin and Hussey aren't going to mistime any pull shots the way they're playing at the moment. Better to probe away and keep it tight than to look for a mistake. These two are well set.

I reckon Xavier Dirty got more spin out there than Swann has thus far.

Doherty's first ball turned sharply. Swann hasn't found any of that.

The England supports on the board reverting to type and eating their own after a couple of bad sessions. At least Australia had the decency to lose three Tests (and indeed not win a match for several months) before we started sinking the slipper.

Top stuff Huss - the grudging acknowledgement from Red seemed like crapping a brick - but in the medium term Haddin's knock may be even more significant. It's not often Hadds has come off going in at 5-140, with the match still up for grabs and the bowlers on top. Whenever Gilly tried to play a Responsible Innings we'd all run and hide. Until today Haddin was the same.

Right, here's a sign of how things are going. Paul Collingwood has been hauled into the 'attack'. Might be a few offcutters. Short midwicket in place and a silly mid-on fielder. Wide slip too, you'd think it's Laker on...

OH BOY HERE WE GO.

104.1 Collingwood to Haddin, 2 runs, dropped! Collingwood almost did the trick! Haddin didn't get hold of his drive and it looped over Alastair Cook who ran back and dived but just couldn't hold on, very tough chance

That was a tough catch that would have been an all-time classic if taken. Instead, the ball went just a few centimetres too far. Suck sh!t.

What bollocks. The first sign of you guys losing a game and there is not enough kleenex tissues in the world.

Last 50 in 61 balls - quickest before that was the first, off an even 100. So easy, so suddenly....

Doesn't Pietersen bowl offies anymore? If I was a captain and I had to go for filth, I'd atleast get someone who'd maybe make Haddin get over-excited and play a false shot.
