Would human beings be better off if we were all hermaphrodites?

I really think that there'd be a lot more harmony in the world if we all possessed both male and sensibilities.

Don't think it works that way. I know a hermaphrodite and she's a damn twat. They tend towards one gender AFAIK. She's a lesbian. She's got shitloads of personality flaws. Being my only casepoint, I would say she's just like many single sex people - a tosser. It doesn't make them more well-rounded, by my accounts.

I like mens bits but having both bits means that you can concentrate on other things as well. Having sex when you've got both bits might be enormous fun.

I don't particularly get you. Are you saying that people would be unified because they've all got the same bits? I don't understand why that would be the case. In a (some) gay club there are stacks of people with the same bits, some or a lot will live in a community whereby no-one has different bits. It's as dyspraxic and unharmonious as anywhere else.

Danny, it just seems that it would take away one particular circumstance that causes misunderstandings. Not a way of bringing about world peace.

I don't see why we would have to tend towards one or other gender if we are all the same gender? That's not logical, we'd not have preconceived patterns of behaviour to follow, we wouldn't know what it was to be just male or just female.
