Bolt may not run in Comm games
Bolt among other jamaicans are expressing concern re security at the Comm Games in banindia.
the lack of planning for these Games is famed and the good name of banindia is about to be drawn through the mire unless they get their act together.
Comm Games officials are very concerned that capital works are running well behind schedule and also expressing concern re the security

The big girls should suck it up. Though living in Southern California or wherever the fark they live probably makes them forget that Jamaica isn't all that safe.

It's only the Guyanese cricketers like Shiv and Sarwan that leave at the first oppportunity and live in the USA. Bolt and Powell both live in Jamaica. In fact Bolt recently got in trouble for getting involved in a music 'war' that is danger of turning violent between the two biggest dancehall stars by declaring his allegiance to one of them.

My point was (having lived in some of the world's most dangerous cities, including Kingston, albeit for a short time) they can hardly bitch about a going to a sporting event where you will be protected by about a million armed soldiers when you live in a no go area.
WTF is a music war?

Yes I get your point don't worry, Kingston is an extremely dangerous place to live, I was just being uncharacteristically confrontational
As for the music war, it's called Gully vs Gaza. They are the nicknames of the two biggest dancehall artists in Jamaica who come from different areas of Kingston. Young people nowadays have to have a preference for one of the two or they get marginalised. It's getting a bit out of control, it's like belonging to a gang where you are protected by your Gaza peeps etc.
If you have lived in Kingston for any length of time you will know that gang business there is serious and you risk your life by declaring allegiance to an audience, national hero or not.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from it's like picking a rugby league team in Port Moresby. Whatever you do your gonna end up pissing off half the people and being Australian won't stop you from getting dead. Which it normally does.
I was only in Kingston for two months and was in a hotel and advised to stay there when I wasn't needed. (Advice I didn't follow)

Port Moresby, as in capital of PNG? Yikes that is the scariest city I have been to. Literally didn't leave the hotel if I could help it and was told not too if I valued my existence.

Hulme is worse, JK.
Or was, at any rate. They've both been re-built now.

Aye - the bull ring. They're gone now, but I used to get my weed from there 20 years ago. Had to go up in a piss smelling lift and knock on the metal door of a flat on the 15th floor, which would be opened by a huge black guy wielding a cleaver and an English bull terrier on a leash. How the fark I had the balls to do that at 20 wearing a suit I'll never know.

Yup. Quality red or gold seal at £60 / ounce. Aaah, those were the days..!
I even used to get it for a bloke I used to work with - Scottish piano salesman from Glasgow, who would drive me there, but was too shit-scared to even get out of his car. I remember being in that lift with some proper rough scrotes, but I figured they'd be far too scared of the bloke with the cleaver to mess with his clients!

Nice. I haven't been able to get that down my way since the mid 90's. Every time I hear of it now, I hassle whoever gets it until I've got some.

Re: Bolt may not run in Comm games
I was looking for clues as to Danny's whereabouts.
Best guess is he met some mischief whilst searching for a big dark fellow carrying a machete behind a steel door in Hulme

JGK didn't. Perhaps that's the problem, in which case a few of us are in trouble.
