Reporting Forummers

Where does it really get us? What does it do for us? What sort of a person would report a fellow person?

I mean seriously!

(Please don't report me for mentioning the reporting. I'm just a reporter.)

I really, really don't know. I just cannot understand it. So people may say things you don't like, so you may not like people or vice versa. shrug

If I ran off to report every forummer who made fun of of me, then I'd probably have a worse rep than the current reporters.

It's all give give give with some people and no take. People are like f'*cking butlers sometimes. Hang on, I better take that back, otherwise I may be knocked for associating people with the catering core. OH NO!

That's it. If I had an ongoing battle with someone, I'd realise that it must be a reciprocal thing. There isn't any one side, hence I'd realise that I'd either have to stop carrying it on or keep it going. Reporting wouldn't even enter my head, but then I'm not someone with the mind of a six year old girl.

Yeah, I've copped my fair share of abuse but have never even considered pm'ing Dello, let alone reporting the entire forum.

Know when to draw the line.

Reporting the person - let alone the forum - is the lowest possible thing a forummer can do .... akin to pissing on the lot of us despite us not being on fire.

Not that I would anyway, as I'd lose all respect for myself if I reported the forum to myself. I'd probably report myself to myself for being such a dipstick.

I once reported Bucky on C4 for a racist comment, but I put a post on the forum to that effect.

IIRC, the offending comment was deleted, but he remained in situ. Oddly enough I was sin-binned for abuse a few weeks later. What goes around, comes around I suppose.

I wouldn't do it now though.

poster skully on the forum is indulging in spiteful and malicious behaviour despite repeated warnings over a period of 2 years.

he has catagorized Indians as 'call center operators'.
people from subcontinent as 'subis' apparently not fit for active sport and of a lower class as compared to whiteys. (he really does use the term 'whiteys' in an 'official' complaint about racial insensitivity...)
repeatedly taunting and ridiculing posters from South Asia and subcontinent in particular.
the forum administrator has failed to check these pranks as has given a free hand.

the poster skully has instigated forummers from South Asia into making classless statements and is bent upon instigating and spoiling the general charm and character of what is otherwise a useful forum for the discussion of cricket.
Please take note of this behaviour and make efforts to allow this forum to be a healthy place where people of all
regions and sexes can contribute and keep discussions healthy without bringing in racist and sexist language of the highest degrading nature into the mix.

this is my request to you all.

I wouldn't normally bring something like this out into the open, but as certain people have decided to wear the fact they've reported the forum like some kind of badge of honour and in doing so sparked silly season, it seems only reasonable to highlight exactly how embarrassingly weak and frivolous this entire "incident" is.

The first two reports were from Vikas (Batman), the 2nd two from the maestro of the forum, BuckSH.
