Christmas Day drinking

what time does evryone start?

About 9am.

But I moderate it throughout the day. Rarely steaming by the time I go to bed, even with a traditional pub lock-in.

Prob about 8 for me

As above. A few bucks fizz in the morning, then just general topping up through the day.

Midday on Christmas Eve.

Yeah shoey - the wife (who doesn't drink much) goes apeshit for Buck's Fizz at Chrimbo. It's quite nice, but I'm soon on the cider. After she's made me have a f*cking snowball!!!!!!

It all depends whether I decide to wake the kids at 5 or not.

5 o'clock is extreme. Even I don't get that excited that Father Christmas has come.

I still do get up early, I can't help it. For me it's a few doobies whilst I wait for the bird to get up. It's the one day I don't mind the utter shithouse Christmas TV.

Have to do a bit of driving on Xmas Day so will have a few Xmas Eve, then settle in at lunch...

I did it 2 years back when they were 17 & 20. For some reason they didn't see the funny side

Sweet man. If I had grown up kids, I'd be doing the same thing.

I'll probably start at about noon on Christmas Day with a couple of cold ones, then switch to the Vino.

Getting some practice in tonight on a good old-fashioned pub crawl.

Started at 11, still going strong. Port and cheese next up.

Started at 2 PM - an hour ago - bottle of wine down. Plan to pace myself from here on until 6 or 7 PM. Then we'll see.

I started around 9am....hmmm.

Champagne, followed by pink champage, followed by white wine, followed by red wine, followed by dessert wine, followed by port.

I'm not even pissed though. Will be annoyed if I have a hangover.

Worked my way from 1100 through Baileys, Champagne, beer and red. Not in massive quantities so not too pissed. Hic.
Anyone see the Royal Family tonight? Not the best, imo, but there was a bit tickled me where Barbara was relating Joe (their neighbour, who was bladdered at the surprise anniversary house-party)'s having to crash on the couch and her thinking that he must have pissed himself whilst asleep, as she came down in the morning to find him drying out the cushions in front of the fire.

My quietest Christmas day (in piss sucking terms) in ages.

Couple of beers at about 9:00 am. Couple more, couple more.................

and then some bed time Bundys.
