I still reckon they'll go with a Wanderers greentop and an all out pace attack.

[bucky]That was not a mistake, you just misunderstood me completely. It might have looked like I wrote Pakistan, but that's just because you're all a bunch of racists out to get me. Take a look at yourselves in the mirror, you disgusting creatures[/bucky]

Seeing as Taips knows more about South African cricket than I, according to him Tahir barely gets a match in FC cricket in SAF.
Although he last played in late December and picked up a 12fer.
Not sure why this should hamper him, he's done exceptionally well for Hampshire and is a revelation. IF the Wanderer's is a green top as Trev proclaims, then Duminy should be enough trouble for England, with the 4 seamers.
Take Tahir to WI, try him out on on a more fragile batting line up.

My recollection of Tahir is that when he's in the zone he's very dangerous but when off form he offers up plenty to hit.

Which must make England eternally desperate.
When it's a greentop in Johannesburg spinners are redundant.

Smerky I don't know where you come up with this shit.
Tahir's FC stats this season
Imran Tahir 2 82.4 5 358 7 4/112 6/203 51.14 (Titans)
You will also notice that he has been picked for only 2 out the 8 games Titans have played

What's the story with First Class status in South Africa? Cricket Archive are claiming he has 44 FC wickets @ 22.15 in the 2009/10 season.

It looks like they are giving what is called the amateur league FC status which is crazy.
Does the MCC rule on what constitutes FC?
