Nevermind. 39-24 I see. Looks entertaining.
So an all Saffie S14 Final. Sorta makes it impossible to choke then.

Score flatters the Crusaders. Late consolation try makes the scoreline look half decent.

And I sorta of thought the Bulls were current champs, and the Boks the WC holders with the best record of all teams in the WC.

Meh, never miss a chance to have a dig about Saffies being chokers. It's what we do.

The Saffies haven't choked in the last year. The simple fact is that they just haven't been good enough from the start.

The Cruraiders are apparently putting saffie noses out of joint by planning a mass signing of young SA talent.

Rapier keen hindsight.

FWIW taips I backed the Crusaders in what I believed was the value bet of the weekend. Money aside, I also hoped like hell that the Crusaders would win. They didn't. Super well played to the Bulls.

Something like the England cricket team?
And by the way Red, if had bothered to read today's news the Crusaders are backtracking rapidly on that. But i guess Spanky never mentioned it.
Otherwise, nice tits.

There were 10 of 14 teams that were bigger failures horrie.
3 of 4 Aussie sides finished in the top half. Improvement, at last.

As an ever optimistic (i.e.paying) member of the Reds I've lived your observations. Bit like Aus cricket in the 80's.
The biggest travesty has been Ballymore's fumbling of the production line of talent. Talent that was fostered and groomed by the priceless toil of the thousands of volunteers at (amateur) club level who are entitled to be rewarded with the pick of the talent staying Red rather then generating revenue for other franchises.

What is it with them taips?
Our mob's problem is they are broke and tried to save money on trivial things like a coach. We have Trade Practices Act problems with concepts such as transfer fees (restraint of trade) but the Reds experience must point to a screaming need for the union that grows a player to be rewarded when they are cherry picked by the likes of the Force, Brumbies and, potentially, the new Victorian outfit.

We have a similar problem here. The players break contracts willy-nilly. The Union protests to SARU, it goes to arbitration, and we get shafted. it is not helped by other Franchises (natably the Sharks) conniving at that.
Can't wait to see what happens when a player is not paid by virtue of underperforming. Lats see how the contracts are viewed then.
