Bung - Serious, or a prick teaser? May be gone for wt20
Link to SMH article
Might have to thank whoever was responsible for breaking Lee's thumb in the IPL.
If he does have to withdraw from the wt20, it exposes the folly of the NSP's decision to select him, but does mean they escape without egg on their faces.
Of course, CA giving him a new contract for the next year looks a tad more foolish.

So was Bung hit while batting? He couldn't have hit his thumb on the ground while "chainsawing" as he hasn't had cause to carry out the spastic celebration.

I'm not sure you'll find too many Bung supporters in the Dubber ranks these days. h. And not much can be done about Maxwell - he's a player manager, so any opinion on him is a waste of breath.

so even slow learners/ 'opportunity class' participants aka spivs have come to that conclusion?

Oh, about 10 years ago when he was first given the moniker of Bung by a Dubber (me), I would suggest, h.

C'mon Horrie - none of the Dubbers here have ever been a fans of Bung in Tests (other than for a small period around the 2006 Ashes).

jgk and skully in sad rewriting of history shockers..tho JGK admits to 06
the inital Ksnr imperative to select the bung was enough for me from the very outset
so S has been bagging weetieboy from 2000

Feel free to trawl the ABC Forum archives, h. 10 years was an approximation (hence the "about").
I joined ABC in earlyish 2002 and trotted out the "Bung" nick not long after due to his two length - sh!t and sh!tter - period after his comeback from the elbow injury suffered in Perth v Windies.

And before anyone corrects me, yes, Bung's two length - sh!t and sh!tter - period after his 2001 comeback did last most of the rest of his career. There was a brief period around about when Pidg retired that he stepped up for a while.

Is it possible to quantify references to players on here?
Bung must be the winner by a country mile, seeing as Red doesn't post much any more.

phurt...
by the way the irrepressible bung is in the news - saying he is ready for the world cup...the busted thumb is not a worry and that he is in fine fettle..the 0/149 cumulative result from his IPL stint is no pointer to his form as he was a bit unlucky

If Thicky Ricky has even a mg of a brain cell, he will have Bung carrying the drinks other than for matches v dreg sides.
Do the minnows play in the T20 Gilly? You know, Netherlands, Kenya, Ireland etc?
