I think it's official. I know Chandrasekhar was a poor batsman, but Martin has to be poorer.

Seeing his shot in the Test just gone I would say yes.

I think it was Mullally, Giddins, Tufnell but im not sure. Tuffers at least belted a first class 50.

I think it may be a Test record oji, but I'll have to do some digging to actually confirm that. The most I can find in FC cricket is 12 consecutive scoreless innings by MA Robinson in 1990 (for Northamptonshire) with a sequence of 0, 0*, 0*, 0*, 0*, 0*, 0, 0, 0, 0*, 0*, and 0.

Martin's 9 consecutive scoreless innings is a record - one ahead of Ramnarine for WI.

Martin's 9 innings coverd 6 matches - Danish Kaneria also went 6 matches without scoring but only had 6 innings in that time.

Should add - Chandra once had 3 straight matches without scoring even though he came to the crease 6 times.
