Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh, 1st Test, Harare, 17-21 April, 2013
Shakib back for Bangladesh as a batsman only.
Zimbots not yet named their squad; should be the regular.

0.6
Robiul Islam to Maruma, no run, dropped, oh dear, sitter, short of a good length, Maruma surves on Test debut, moved away and he tried to fish for that, got a thick edge and Mahmudullah at first slip spills it, straightforward chance
Its going to be a long day.
Re: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh, 1st Test, Harare, 17-21 April, 2013
Zimbots 10/1. Its going to be charity to call this game a test.
Re: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh, 1st Test, Harare, 17-21 April, 2013

The Bangle openers have a combined test average of 125.
That's opening bowlers by the way.

While we are looking at these scores, I hope someone somewhere is happy that these games have Test status whereas the WSC games have the same statistical relevance as backyard cricket.

And what are you going to say when Australia has Clint Mackay & John Hastings opening the bowling in the first test of the Ashes series?
It could happen.
We have a Quntouris.

Deadly accurate Bangladee bowling against this strong Zimbabwe batting lineup.
2/53 off 33 overs.

Old Hamilton loves to dig in. He's of the old school. He'd fit in nicely in the England top/upper middle order. He could bat at four, to make a top 'paint dry' list.

Last I checked, his talent levels aren't massive, but he tries to stick in there all the same. Ronnie Knicks is still shitting his bits, 9 years into a prolific international career.

OMG
He's done him!
Through the air & off the pitch.
Enamul Haque junior has found the edge of Hamilton Masakadza's bat.

That's like wreching Rahul Dravid out - come to think of it, Enamul is almost 10 years into an international career.

He's the dasher if Tino Mawoyo's in the side. Usually he's not so dour, just not very good.Brass Monkey wrote:Old Hamilton loves to dig in. He's of the old school. He'd fit in nicely in the England top/upper middle order. He could bat at four, to make a top 'paint dry' list.
Good innings by Taylor and Rubel helping his average reach the Don's levels again with a wicket off a no ball.

4-217 after a day in which Taylor made 105 off just over 200 balls.
Dire stodginess all round otherwise. Has Tavare been coaching?
