Another one I had to look up. Certainly an impressive line-up of partners-in-crime.

I found out I am only two degrees from him in the 6 deg of sep game: I was at school in England in 1973 with his 80s associate Andy Hill, with whom he went through his 'pop' phase including Leo Sayer whose career he basically resurrected, and Buck's Fizz, whose Sinfield-Hill creation 'Land of Make Believe' was a great infinite-number-of-monkeys moment for an otherwise pretty indefensible outfit. (I can only imagine the caterwauling from the Melody Maker set when he turned up in the creds for a Bucks Fizz record....would have been in the league of Barassi to Carlton)
