I'd be careful you don't get blown up with those pro-Christian sentiments . . .

Re: A good Good Friday and Happy Easter
I've often wondered why Easter is never on the same date. Strange isn't it?
There was a long dispute in the Christian church as to the proper time for holding Easter, the Christian of the East celebrating it on the same day as that in which the Jewish Passover fell, that is, the 14th of Nissan, while the majority of the churches celebrated it on Sunday next after this day. The controversy was decided by the Council of Nice in 325 A.D., which fixed Easter on the first Sunday after the full moon, which happens on a Sunday. Easter is the Sunday after, properly speaking, "full moon" - meaning the 14th day after the moon.
EASTER never occurs before March 22nd, or after April 25th.

The egg represents new life, so I guess that's the Pagan festival part.
Also the best example of commercialism!

Sure. Once you and your forum hubby stop making such silly comments...
I might consider removing yours soon enough though.

You know, batty, the shit that hit the fan during the Aus series actually has made you and I and and a few others pretty good mates, eh? Maybe it was worthwhile . . .

Yeah. It was actually good in a way. Makes me wonder. I know I was pretty wound up back then and went really OTT. Too bad Zat didn't move forward with it. But other than that most others have gotten to seeing each others views a bit more better - You, Skully, JB, Henry, JKL...most of you cunuts. The only other one who has also not come around since then is Taipworm. I do find that surprising most since I never had a tiff with him before. In fact I used to back him when he had a go with another Subi Vir/Mohabbat on C4. During that last Aus-Bhajji fest here though, he just jumped in throwing lots behind the rest of you guys seeing an opportunity at subi-bashing tearing into me without any provocation. He has since then stubbornly refused to get along with people who he has provoked and who gave him some back.
Hopefully he will come around some day and stop his cheap subi-winding and realize there are more friends to be made out there than lose some out on.....
But other than a couple of these softcocks, the community has def built up since that ugly episode. I agree.

Okay, just for the record, taipan and I just play on the impression you have on us. Just because I was angry once when you posted that drivel about him........there is nothing between us. Taipan is a happily married family man. So YOU stop your silly comments and I'll stop mine.Batman wrote:Demelza wrote:Thanks Batman.

Re: A good Good Friday and Happy Easter
OK. It's a deal Dem. Nice to see some sanity where the two of us is concerned.
Seriously speaking, I have nothing against Taips, but his stubborn refusal, to make peace makes it very difficult. As things stand I am also nothing less than extremely stubborn, so I guess it will be long time before either of us really get around to being friends or at the very least really ignore each other.
But peace with you.
Note my modified Signature. One off the enemy list for now.
