I was listening to Rashid and he claims that a lot of players around the world are involved in spot fixing and the best way to LIMIT is to GET RID of the powerplays and delay the live coverage.

Interesting that there's live coverage in many sports - funnily enough, a lot of which don't involve illegal Indian bookies, or Pakistan in any way, shape or form - that aren't plagued by the problem of fixing.

So you have a bent player agreeing to bowl a wide, no ball or score slowly during a particular period of the game.

How exactly will delaying tv coverage stop this?

Aye, the only change is you would have to place your bet 5 minutes before you got to see it on tv.

In the pre-puter days we had to put bets on 10 minutes before the event took place and we seemed to manage
