So this was basically the third-tier tour? Didn’t know there was such a thing anyway… sounds like it’s produced some talent though.

Yes, was a feeder tour to the Challenge Tour. It was a very good development tour as the graduates suggest. Used to even have a highlights program a few years back when we had a dedicated golf channel (don't know now).

One other serious option that has opened up is the Asian Development Tour. Some money can be made here with the Saudi investment into the tour.

What problems did they mention? Other than the fact that most of your competitors are spectators are rednecks.

Rory in particular is feeling massively cheated by the PGA.

Sorry, way too late to respond, more that they have nobody to speak to and it gets quite lonely. Lahiri's was in respect to celebrating at home 3 months after finishing 2nd in the Players. Kiradech was that he couldn't speak to anyone Thai at all.

One good thing that this mess has resulted in is that it's helped a lot of domestic tours. PGTI's OoM winner gets a ET card. Think it's three from Korea and Japan too. And a few Challenge tour events in India too.

Only losers seem to be the PGAT and ET themselves. Got to hand it to Norman... guy is brave in a way few would be.

With a year and a bit, I think the team competition in LIV also looks far more relevant than last year. Koepka's meltdown helped too.

Ricky Ponting was trending on TAFKAT yesterday, apparently people thought he’d just won the Open…
