This man got to be on his last legs.
If not for SA tour, he might've been dropped by now.
Seaweed, GG and SRT's phenomenal form in the past couple of years has masked the waning of Dravid. We can all see it but the Indian NSP just doesn't seem to have the heart to sack the formerly great man. He scratches around like an old chook and then very occasionally grinds out a ton (as he will probably do here) and the NSP pats themselves on the back and says "there, we told you so".Henry wrote:In all honesty Dravid's been a shadow of his former self for three years now.
Perfect opportunity being missed to blood some new Indian stars.

This will be a long tour for New Zealand unless they get it together.
Looks unlikely after the first days performance.

I bet the Kiwis rue the day Iain O'Brien left their ranks. He might have actually caused a bit of damage out there.
And where is Tim Southee?

Martin, Bennett, Vettori, Ryder & Patel - gotta be up there with one of the poorest Test attacks in recent memory.

Apparently all of the NZ wickets have come from edges onto the stumps. They'll take any bit of luck at the moment.

Apparently Laxman is wearing a back brace. May have been better if he'd skipped this series to make sure he is 100% for South Africa.

India probably already have enough runs to win by an innings.

They usually put up a good fight against better opposition but will crumble to spin in the second dig.
