RIP Tiger Lance

Sadly Tiger Lance passed away yesterday having been injured in a car crash four weeks earlier. Another test cricketer from my earliest days of following the game. He was also a top class soccer & hockey player.

Aw, that sucks. I have mentioned it a few times in various forums, but my dear departed cricket-loving old man said Tiger was hands down the best fieldsman he ever saw live.

And I couldn't have told you his real name was Herbert Roy to save my life.

Sad to read this. Tiger was legendary in the field.

His batting/bowling stats don't look any great shakes, but like Colin Bland, there is an untold story there.
