I repeat - I am my own person/identity and don't need the cursed NFI yoke around my neck.
PS - If you believe everything Lags said then there's deffo no hope for you.
And no - you're not in "my clique" ... as if there ever was one.
You're Essex FFS and as for the daft Cobbler ... well ... nuff said!
Wink

Ian, protesting too much just makes you look like a bawdy tryhard.

Not good at all Merlin, I'd be incensed if I were you. The looming of Non-League football is grim. I remember that feeling well. It's unlikely that you'll slip that far though....

I've pretty much had enough of my lot playing some sh!t-hot football and not being able to score. We've done it for about 5 seasons and that's with proven goalscorers. I'm nearly not attending, I've had a few afternoon sessions on a Saturday and to be frank it feels like a day off work. It'll be the first time in a long, long while. It's pretty boring going up knowing it will be a 'play well, create chances, not finish them and get mugged towards the last 15' situation yet again.

Tiresome.

Incensed yeah - but sad really to see the club tottering like that.
Really believed Butcher was the Messiah ... hard nosed, tough talking, kick up the arse type ... but we've gone backwards ... got hamered last week - let 7 in FFS ....
Thought being a defender his first priority would've been locking up the back four.

Seems now he also doesn't get on with the sadarsed Chairman - ex BBC dickHd Birt - who still wants to sell-off Griffin Park to developers ... it's doom down our way right now.

Agree .. we won't go down this year - maybe next .. who knows.

Cobblers doing okay though ... holding their own anyway.
Swap you any day !

Butcher's always seemed a little tactically inept. But yeah, thought he'd 'rally the troops'. Martin Allen AND Ron Noades not as bad as I thought then eh? Wink

Cobblers? Sh1t. 19 points from 17 matches. Currently 17th and only ignominious dross below us is propping us up. Had high hopes for something other than mediocrity this year.... I might get it... a relegation battle to salivate over.

Yes you do. You can't read the forum unless you're registered.

I told him if I deleted his account he wouldn't be allowed to re-register as someone else later on when he's back in the mood to forum, but he still insisted he be erased.

Like I said - was just asking.

I got accused of being in a clique with Danny & Merlin FFS, yet I get derided for my Bell love (er yeah) and I think that Merlin is probably NFI.

Mind you it was lags who said that, so...
