''I hope England keep taunting him. He is that sort of player. When he was playing to make his Test debut he was up against two established players, Chris Rogers and Phil Jaques, for a place and what did he do? He scored [151 and 82 not out for NSW against Tasmania]. When the pressure is on and he absolutely has to score runs, he does. He's a little fighter.''
Erm, when have England "taunted" him? And where were these fighting qualities when his future was on the line at Lord's last year?
Good one JL, you've just piled a whole lot more pressure on a young player coming back into a side that is down in the dumps. Still talking like it's 2001....Not what Australian cricket needs you would have thought.

Re: Justin Langer- bless
Never rated him since the A game in England. Couldn't understand his FC record or how the fark the Saffers let him double up against them in a test match.
If he gets a ton in this series, then the England bowlers want shooting as they'll have served up a load of wide dross for him to feast on.

He's averaging 22 in first class cricket so far this season so Aus State bowlers have clued up as well. Did bugger all for Hampshire at the end of the last English season, as well.

Ah, now I remember where England have "taunted" him.
With the ball, when he's batting. Yep JL, let's hope it continues.
