ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat, speaking about Pakistan's legal action on matches being moved from Pakistan in the next world cup ...

the board papers for the recent ICC board meetings did very specifically raise the question of whether the 2011 World Cup matches assigned to the PCB as joint hosts should be relocated outside of Pakistan ... We also pointed out that the ICC board agreed only that the World Cup matches should be moved away from Pakistan, not that the PCB should be removed from its position as a joint host of the event itself.

So the matches won't be played in Pakistan, they'll be played in another of the hosting countries, And Pakistan will remain joint hosts of the 2011 WC even though they won't host any of the matches, except for the matches they will host in another host country, hosted by someboday else. These guys shoud work for the Ten Network. Full cricinfo story.

Under any case, Pak is 'hosting' for 'home' series playing in Dubai, UAE and Sharjah, where they can keep the revenue. Perhaps thats the inference.

If not, than just another of ICC's curious ways of functioning!
