Three slips, gully, short cover, extra cover, mid off, mid wicket, fine leg. Bowl for the edge, mostly take the ball across him, but try and swing the occasional one back into him for the LBW.

English bowlers have got the brains of retarded rats. They might bowl one or two fuller deliveries, but when they fail to take a wicket with the first few deliveries, they start bowling short. Qunts.

Another point is, the yard of extra pace from Shahzad might do the trick (if he keeps his head and goes for the yorker, that is, however much The Huss might jive about to try to put him off)

To be fair, Australia did the same with Cook... how often do we see it, it takes one innings and a player on the verge of being dropped suddenly becomes a world-beater for a while.

It just seemed perplexing - England in the main bowled so well to the rest of the Aus order but seemed to bowl so poorly to Hussey and Haddin. Of course, you could say it was Hussey who made it look bad and Ponting and Pixie boy made it look good.

The same could be said for Cook. Although the Aus bowling was a bit toothless, Cook's superb batting made it look much more inept than it was

Sure, the odd one to keep him honest, but the hook/pull doesn't look an obvious weakness with him - far from it. England's tactics to Hussey have been rubbish.

Rightly saved though, to be fair. Also UDRS'd (uddersed?) out in the first innings at Perth off a nick that Blindy McBlind didn't see. So he's not had it all his own way.
