I'm afraid the time has come Aussies
I'm sure you knew this was coming, so don't be too sad. Here we go:
Only another 2 and a half years of this one. I might even find a better one.
Cheers lads

Lovely. Tainted slightly by Bres' expression of being on the wrong end of a little "surprise sex".
Re: I'm afraid the time has come Aussies
Haha yes I noticed that, think Monty may be the culprit.
I think we should shake things up and make this the "bumped up for 2 and a half years" thread. Maybe add a few photos along the way. Don't think the Aussies liked us bumping the Oval thread, can only assume because it was a test match thread so bumping this one shouldn't cause any problems. I know Lardy likes a bit of normal thread necromancy.

To be honest this doesn't hurt as much as the pics coming out of England given that we could easily have won both of those series.
We know we're absolute shyte atm so it will serve as motivation knowing we can never plumb these depths again.

Yes...bring it on & get it over with.
One thing you can always rely on with the Poms. They are always gracious in defeat but utter boors in victory.

The other good thing is that the next time we play England, we'll actually provide some opposition after maybe doing some proper planning and meaningful preparation. This series we just bent over for them. We made some erstwhile journeyman look like superstars.

You play as well as the opposition allows you to play.

Good to see you giving England credit for playing well, Red......
Who are the "erstwhile journeymen" by the way?

Maybe if the Vixens didn't horde players that can't take the step from FC to Test Cricket maybe then they would get a look in

Aye. No amount of preparation will matter if we don't have the cattle.

My favourite photo... I could get quite used to this though quite how Steve Davies wangled his way into the front of the photo I don't know. Must've been taking tips from David May,

A new camera angle shows that it was Pietersen on the grassy knoll.
Poor Bres.

Should have known. He has seemed rather fruity recently.
