Henry Nolonga wrote:Yeah, that was my experience too. I usually like to go for the space race victory but it's much harder in this game in order to do that because more often than not you end up having to focus your resources on military units due to an annoying neighbour declaring war on you.

That's why i'm still keeping Civ IV on my computer as well.
Just started a great game on monarch yesterday, went with the Persians and took out two early civs with his Immortals, was lucky enough to start with horses in my first city and two close neighbours. Civ IV still gets me excited, what a game Very Happy.

Finally completed Asassins Creed 2 by repeatedly kicking the Pope in the balls. Crap ending to a good game.

I'm back into Football manager at the moment. Got Forest promoted first season and also won the league cup so in Europe already!

Second season isn't going quite so well, 14th in the league, out of the League Cup, have United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup away. Still in Europe though so 'tis not all bad.

I have to say spending what seemed ages kicking several shades of sh1t out of a defenceless old pope with an unnecessarily big health bar was just bizarre....and not as fun as it should have been.

La Noire is indeed bloody good. Would recommend it to anybody into retro detective mysteries.

Hush my mouth, you're right.

Well, I haven't got an Xbox, so that's the end of that. Unless you can persuade me that the game is so good that it's worth buying an Xbox for, just to play it.

Yet.

That's no good to me. Every second that the game isn't out on PC is a second more out-dated and decrepit my PC becomes.

My Macbook could handle it. But if it's not out on PC yet, the Mac version - if it ever happens - will be even further away.

Yeah, it looks a real cracker of a game. Not many console games make me want to leg it out, buy a console and play it. But that one does. It looks deadset quality. My X-Box addict mate raved about it for about half an hour last night. Which probably didn't help the cause. A damn sight better than your boring releases of same old football, racing, shoot 'em up games.

Yeah, exactly the same. Just resign yourself to the fact that it's ultimately a useless thing to do.

I'm still hooked on Fifa 11. Currently battering every team in sight as Charlton Athletic. Just beat a Liverpool team featuring Ibrahimovich and Torres.

So unrealistic, but I can't put it down. I've been told to steer clear of FM2011, as it ruins lives apparently.

I just did a solid three weeks of FM2011. But I've weened myself off it now. But now I'm talking about it, I'm thinking I could fire it up again...
