This new Partnerships Role at the ECB

I was at a cricket luncheon on Monday, and the guest speaker was non other than the new MD of Cricketing partnerships.

Seems as if this role is nothing more but all about getting more people into cricket.

Unfortunately we were not allowed to ask any questions, probably due to the fact that Collier and Carr were in attandance and wouldn't fancy seeing the Mr. Gatting perhaps floundering over answering the:

"Its all well and good to get more people playing etc, but when they get reasonably good they wont be able to persue it anymore because there will be no room in the FC game for all the flipping Kolpaks."

Aye.

Gatting trying to justify touring SA was one of the most cringeworthy things on TV i've seen.
