Favourite Batting Partnerships
Which partnerships have you enjoyed most in the past and currently?
I'm still thinking about my favourites from the past.
I still like to see Flintoff and Pietersen together but don't have as much confidence in Flintoff as I used to so tend to spend most of the time they're together, cringing.
I'm very excited, atm, about seeing Kallis and Duminy together.
What's yours, from the past and present?

For about 18 months from early 2002 to late 2003, Vaughan and Trescothick were a great opening partnership to watch.

Completely biased here but who gives a fugg.....
Lara/Hooper - it is impossible to have a more aesthetically pleasing partnership than that.
Lara/Sarwan - Two elegant batsmen who seemed to love batting with each other.
Ramdin/Bravo - Doesn't happen anywhere near often enough, but their 177 run partnership against Australia in 2005 was spectacular and they both played some amazing shots against Shane Warne and Brett Lee.

For power and grace, I'd go with:
Mark Waugh and Adam Gilchrist
and
Damien Martyn and Adam Gilchrist.

come now.... Monty doesn't hang around long enough to have 'partnership' even uttered in the same sentence as his name. All this bollocks about 'he can 'work his way up to number 9' from Beefy was just that - Bollocks. Monty will still be telling his grandkids about 'that dreamy cover drive I played against Pakistan in 2006.'

Current - Sehwag and Gambhir.
I'm keen to see some good partnerships between DeVilliers and Duminy in the future.
