County crickets most drossworthy
Step forward Mr Tim Phillips
64 FC games. Batting average 19..... (this is a guy Essex were determined to bat at 3 a few years back)
Bowing average 46.50. Nuff said.
This guy has had a contract at Essex for 11 years.

TBH, I was surprised the Middlebrook lasted as long at yours - fc bowling average of 39. Probably everybody but Loye, Sales, Hall, O'Brien and Vaas at Northants.
Peters - 198 matches, batting average 35.
White - 101 matches, batting average 33.
Wakely - 38 matches, batting average 25.
Daggett - 43 matches, bowling average 35.
Lucas - 77 matches, bowling average 32.
It's a f*cking car crash of mediocrity. Still, you buy 10 lighters for a pound and 7 will break before a third of the gas has run out. Strange analogy... but you probably get my drift.

Stubbings now the fourth most successful shoe polisher in north-western Chesterfield.
Between the hours of 12-2 anyhow.

He was excellent for us in the one day game, and very underrated as a batsman too. Don't think Timmy can even claim to be that.

True. I just don’t know how you managed… the Danish Canary I suppose. I’m not used to this spinning mediocrity, you must understand.
